Opened in 1997, the Museum of Moroccan Judaism was created by the Foundation of Moroccan-Jewish Heritage four years after its creation. It is considered the only Jewish museum in the Arab world.

The Museum of Moroccan Jewry, which was previously dedicated to the protection of Jewish children (the Murdock Bengio Children’s Home, established in 1948), has become a meeting place for visitors of different religions and in which Moroccan Jewish traditions are highlighted.

One can also find several objects from the Jewish-Moroccan arts and crafts such as costumes, bracelets, silver fibulas, pendants and paintings.

This museum of 600 m2 is composed of several multipurpose rooms where various exhibitions are organized as well as spaces dedicated to the presentation of synagogues.
