Located within the house of culture in the city of Laayoune, the Saharian Arts Museum is an ethnographic museum whose objective is to present to visitors traditional objects made from different local materials as well as the intangible heritage of the southern provinces of Morocco.

In this museum of Saharian arts in Laayoune there are photographs of different archaeological sites dating back to the Neolithic period of prehistory. There is a presentation of the Saharian tent with all its components as well as the equipment of the dromedary, the animal most prized by the people of the Sahara. There are also several collections of jewelry and local costumes, musical instruments used in the Sahara.

Entrance fees: 10 dhs for adults – 3 dhs for children. (Friday: free for nationals.)
